Here was a test I made for my planned Stencyl Space Shooter a long time ago. It's hardly a game, all I wanted to do was see if my core game mechanics would work, three color bullets, and when you combine the colors, they make more colors, and you can barrel roll. Much to my surprise, I think it will.

To play, you use the "WASD" keys to move, shift and space to roll, and del/end/page down to fire red/yellow/blue. Push two buttons to get color combos.

To try and make something of it, just try and challenge yourself. Dodge hitting blue ships, hit a whole squad, jump around a lot, try and snag out of reach enemies.
