So far, not much more than a skeletal battle system, barely functioning properly but it gets the idea across. the controlls are mouse based. press alt to select the ai mode. the only feedback i'm looking for at this point is weather or not you like the idea of it so far.
Due to the complicated nature of the battle system i have been trying to implement, I have now decided to go with presets. you will still be able to select the AI of each party member, but instead of being entirely customizable, it will be options like aggressive, defensive, recovery, support, etc... the recovery option will be focused on healing, only attacking if everyones health is above 90% or so. support will be mainly focused on increasing his allys efficency, by using abilitys that increase other allys firing speeds, or defense etc. and healing when and ally's health reaches a critical state. if everyones health is above this state and everyone already has all available buffers, then he attacks. defensive will focus on using abilitys that draw the enemies fire to him, while increasing his own defense. healing only in critical situations and rarely attacking, if even at all. aggressive will pull out all stops when it comes to dealing damage, his only other ability will be healing and only when someones hp reaches a Dire state. if anyone has suggestions for more AI layouts, pleasy feel free to suggest some. i'm not sure if the support AI should also be charged with reducing the enemy's stats or make that another layout entirely. R restarts the room.
the main change to this upload is added scenery, completely rewritten battle system, modifyed controlls and a weather controller. if nothing else, hang around the lake for about a minute and watch the weather change.
