Long ago, when the world was first created, there was a quarrel between two brother gods. One god wanted to make creatures of pure good, while another wanted to make creatures of pure evil. Each god made one kind of creature for the world--the good god made Kliktz and the dark god made the Grimli, and their mother made it so these beings could choose which to be in their lives. But lately, Kliktz have started to become Grimli against their will. What is happening in the world...? And can an ordinary man and an ordinary woman, along with their ordinary Kliktz, get to the bottom of it?
