Copy the text that you want to count and paste it into this program, then press the Calculate button. Your text will be analyzed and you can be on your way!
For extra options to change how the words are counted, click the 'plus' button.

As long as you don't go crazy with improper formatting, counting results are usually 100% accurate and identical to the MS Word's counter. Otherwise its about 99% accurate.
