Back Story: The Date was August 10 in the year 2037 of the imperial calendar, the Holy Laumeurdeilian Empire had just declared war upon Australia. The south east nation had held fast to its neutrality and now Laumeurdeil looms as the world's only superpower. Rights to Australia's underground resources became a hotly disputed issue, straining the already deep rooted diplomatic tensions between two sides in the deciding battle for the mainland. Laumeurdeilian forces introduced into combat the autonomous armoured aircraft known as the Halebird G-25 series. The enemy's forces were far greater than anticipated, and the new aircrafts obliterated the Australian front line of defence of the mainland with little effort in less than a month. Australia became a dominion of the empire, the country was stripped of its freedom, rights, culture, name and dignity. Area 7, the defeated and once proud nation of Australia was rechristened with a mere number. Their last hope, a lone stealth bomber, formerly known as the B-2 Spirit.
