Firstly, for all you 'Too long,
didn't read'ers, ermm... Enjoy!
But bare in mind, 99% of the
game is very incomplete. If you
plan on rating, please comment
with your reasoning!
Controlls:
Arrows = movement.
E = use stairs.
S = skill book.
I = inventory.
space = pick up.
(Name Likely to change at some
point) Well, fed up with
Quaternions, Vectors and 3D
in general i took a break from
Unity and went back to my
roots. Though i succesfully
made a semi-decent (though
just as unfinished) roguelike
using Unity, a 2D tile based
game in a 3D environment
wasn't working for me, hence
my new attempt in GameMaker.
Reasons for uploading such a
featureless game, well i plan on
making money from this upon
completion so i want as much
feedback as possible.
Preferably on the dungeon
generation as this is pivotal.
Aswell as this, i'm working on it
almost everyday and adding
bits frequantly so there's
reason to stick around!
Drag a skill from the skill book to
a hotkey slot (the 1,2,3 boxes)
and press the corresponding
key to activate the skill.
The only skill right now is Dig,
when you activate the skill,
move in to a diggable tile to...
dig it? Yeah.
Enemies don't do anything but
move around and look cute,
they're there simply as a test of
AI based on amount of turns
taken. They don't spawn in
random locations either so
often will start inside walls.
The inventory does nothing yet,
you can pick up peices of dirt
and they're displayed in your
inventory, but that's it.
The dirt is always visible due to
it being there as a test only.
All images were drawn by me
in Paint so no stealing please <3
Thank you for all who've read
this far, and any feedback is
welcome! Thank you!
