Story :

Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom there lived a mighty necromancer in his runious castle, high upon a cliff. Time and insanity had cankered his mind and his wish was to achieve eternal life. His dark magic animated the dead, tying the poor souls to a new meritless life. They rose from their graves, freed themselves from the gallow’s grip and gathered around their new lord. He constantly commanded them to steal more dead bodies from the cemeteries in order to have enough specimens for his morbid experiments. The people of the kingdom were afraid of the necromancer but all effort they put into defeating him was meaningless. Each and every one of their soldiers failed and joined the undead army of the dark magician, fighting their own people.
Solely one brave hero stood up to the vicious sorcerer but was never able to conquer the dark fortress.

Years passed and one day a young boy sought the company of the necromancer, willing to be his loyal footman and desiring the dark gift. The sorcerer took the boy under his wing and tried desperately to teach him the mysteries of necromancy but failed completely as his student was a clumsy half wit. His master scolded him, calling him utterly useless again and again. Frustrated and humiliated he searched for a way to surpass his cruel master and stumbled upon his archenemy – the hero who had never given up on rescuing the kingdom from the grim magician. Blinded by wrath and pride the boy made a deal with the warrior, promising him the head of his master. Together they overpowered the necromancer and the hero took his head as a trophy for his long desired victory.

Meanwhile the sorcerer’s apprentice decided to take control of the undead troops of his master. He focused on his most powerful magic to cast a mighty spell but his clumsiness led to a disaster. The spell went awfully wrong and so the misguided power struck the sorcerer’s body instead. So he woke from his supposed eternal sleep and found his disembodied head hanging above the hero’s fireplace. Confused but determined to escape, he succeeded in freeing himself from his awkward situation. Doomed to wander upon earth as one of the creatures he once commanded, he longed for taking revenge on his student and for regaining his powers.

In order to surpass his master, the boy made a deal with a brave hero, promising him the head of the necromancer. Together they killed the vicious sorcerer and the hero took his head as a trophy. The apprentice tried to take over the undead army of his dark lord but his clumsiness lead to a calamity and animated the fresh corpse of his master, tying him to an undead existence.
