This is a platform engine that is controlled by the mouse. Free to use but please give credit (optional, but i would really like it).
Also, only slightly related info, this was inspired by Poptropica
Controls. Mouse (duh). Hold the left button to move in that direction, if it is above the character the char will jump.
Requires pro but only because of the cursor object, just remove the image_angle=... codes in the cursor object
