The Invention of Life is another cross-genera game, although it's not as mixed up as Tetrex (my game for YYG comp 05).
This was made in 1 month for NAL's Invention Contest on GameJolt. TIOL is a story game, so don't get lost in the gameplay (or lack thereof) that you miss the story. The game spans two basic genres, platform and arcade, and you go through different stages. In each stage, you have a task to complete.
