Super Mario Trials is made up into two sections. Story Mode and Time Trials.

Story Mode-
Mario has defeated Bowser and has nothing to do. So he times himself in some time trials to test his abilitys, but wheres Bowser? Wheres his hideout, and is he planning to put Mario in his place once and for all? Journey through the Clock and Time Kingdom as Mario is timed on new levels, worlds, and MORE!!! Once you beaten the game, you unlock "Minigames" on the Extras Menu. Minigames explained in the "Extras" menu.

Time Trials-
Mario explores THREE new levels he is timed in. Your time is unlimited, but you can't die from time. There is no time limit. If you beat Grassy Plains, you unlock time trials for level pannels from Story Mode. If you beat Super Skys, you unlock trials for Fortresses. If you beat Badness Basin you unlock the Bowser's Castle time trial. Note: On Time Trials, There are NO ace coins!

SHIFT+UP/X+UP: Spin Jump
CONTROL/Z: Run/Pick things up.
ARROW KEYS: Move/Duck/Slide Down Slopes
SPACE BAR/C: Reserve Item/Map Inventory
ENTER: Pause/Unpause
F1: View Readme
F2: Restart Game
F3: Full Screen on Startup
F4: Full Screen
F5: Frame Skip On/Off
F9: Take Screenshot
