Controls:
Up & Down arrows: Move up/down.
Spacebar: Fire

Used a sans CD copy of "the Game Maker's Apprentice" to make its ch. 2 game, "Evil Clutches." Pixlr edited doodled sprites.
No music, no SFX. Background image was a public domain image, but now ran through various filters in Pixlr.
I may perhaps revisit this in the future if better skills develop
