This is the sequel to Power Star Escape.
Like Power Star Escape, it is a maze game.
This follows the storyline of the original. This has a much more detailed storyline including cutscenes that I am very proud of. The gameplay is very similar to the first Power Star Escape. There is 10 levels instead of 5, and the graphics are much better. There is a challenge mode where you go through 50 floors of enemies, and a 2-player mode where you race through mazes, survive waves of enemies, and fight eachother. This is a much better game than the original, so if you just want to play this and not the original, here is the storyline of the original:

Mario has captured a Powerstar and has left him in his castle. The powerstar believes Mario will kill him and fights through toads, yoshis, and Mario's friends. He rescues other powerstars, and fights Mario. Mario's soul splits, and the cruel evil part attacks Powerstar. Powerstar manages to defeat the evil part of Mario's soul, but then Bowser steals Powerstar. Powerstar now has to make it through Bowser's castle, where Mario (just the good part of his soul) and his friends join his side. Once he defeats Bowser, Bowser gets so mad he turns the entire kingdom into a burning wasteland. Powerstar then pushes him into a black hole.

Yet somehow Bowser is saved........
