Update: I just uploaded the latest source. Contains less "bugs." The source has also been released for this game as well.


Update: I just couldn't wait I updated this to include a little bit more advanced image mapping and collision detection. I think the controls and errors are way less in this version.


Okay, so here is the engine that I am currently working on for my remake of the Atari 2600 game Combat developed by Atari Inc in 1977.

The graphics for this game are recreated pixel by pixel, as well as the sound. This release of the engine features the ricochet bullets and a first to 7 scoreboard. Some of the other features included are joystick controls (if activated.)

I hope that you all find this fun and true to the original.
