3 months after Squares escape from SquareTwist Dungeon, Square finds himself underground, by that, if he takes too long to get out, The Mountain will explode from pressure, put Square back in SquareTwist Dungeon and even worse, it will destroy Blockland and possibly, make life on that land extinct, so Square must escape from The Underground, get out of The Mountain and save Blockland for good!
