Ecosystem Ver 0.2 Built 11/15/11

This is a digital ecosystem where you basically play GOD! What happends, happens. The current species is just BROWN. You can set up their environment, and they will thrive, multiplying minute by minute, depending on how their environment is, and if they can reach out to eachother.

*The Spawn commands spawn at mouse, not at player.

Ese to Exit
0 for Reset
1 to spawn an egg Male
2 to spawn a rock
3 to spawn water
4 to spawn an egg Female
5 to spawn a tree
6 to spawn a Predator Male (Hunts Males)
7 to spawn a Predator Female (Hunts Females)
Z to turn off Loop
F4 to change screen Modes (Full-Windowed)
F5 to Save a Game
F6 to Load a Game
F9 to take a Screenshot


What is the Brown Dot?
The Brown dot, believe it or not, is your creature. (Which may seem lazy, I do agree)
It will do whatever it pleases, shaking around your map.

Why is everything Circular?
Well, at first everything was mostly SQUARED, which I do have a picture of, but then I thought it would make things look more creative circular.

What are the creatures doing to the trees?
The FEMALES are making nests for the males, which leaves you to make the males, or for the creatures to do so.

Why are my creatures dissapearing into the nests, and not comming out?
The MALES are staying within the nest, this may sound stupid, but it keeps from spamming them when they mate.

Where are my creatures going when they go into my water?
Well it says on the screen when they drown, anything else?

Why aren't my eggs hatching?
You have to touch the eggs (your the yellow character) in order for them to hatch.

HELP! When my creatures mate, they created over a hundred other creatures, and it slows me down!
POPULATION CONTROL! You are the god! You MUST control the population, even if it means killing off your dear creatures. (Water or Predator is recommended!)

Why can't I undo my last action?
Because I havn't found a working code for the undo action, just build carefully.

Why is there 2 kinds of Predators?
I seemed to of came across some trouble in the making of Update 0.2 where the predator wont hunt 2 targets, I will look into it on future versions.

NOTE:

Please take note that this is the SECOND version of Ecosystem, and for now it is made with Game Maker Lite, I promise I will get Game Maker Pro for it, believe me, I want it real bad, so I can get that annoying watermark out of the way, and to add some epic features.

Anyway, this is an early version, 0.1 to be exact. More WILL be added, and things will be able to interact with the creatures, just give me some time. Because at the moment it just looks like a simple little game drawn with MS Paint, which I apologize for, because I'm no artist. But I put my heart into this game, as much as I can, and I would love to have some more ideas.
