Allows you to have three different minecraft.jar files in your .minecraft/bin folder, and switch between them at will. Install different mods in each .jar file, and switch between them whenever you want, easily, at the press of a button. (Well, double click (or single click + enter) and another mouse button press, but you get the point) You could have one file for the orignal minecraft.jar, one file for your map editing programs, and another for Optifine. No need to do a "force update" every time you need to revert back to the original, vanilla Minecraft.
