Map Builder can be used to generate a file which, when imported into Game Maker creates objects in the room. I made it initiallly to create external rooms for a FPS game I once made. The rooms I had made were very large which made the game take a long to load. Using Map Builder, large rooms can be made which are only loaded when needed, making the game startup alot faster.
