You play as Luigi in this 3D FP game. Your goal is to find Mario. The problem is that you're not aware which floor Mario is held captive in. You must find all of Mario's notes and the Boo's notes and use them to gain better knowledge of the forgotten mansion. While you are searching for Mario, make sure you're not spotted by the boos or you're toast. It will be hard to spot boos in the dark but once you get the "Fire Flower" on the second floor, you'll be able to stun boos and escape them. Finding Mario is your main objective. Although, another objective would be to find ALL of the notes. If you do not collect all of them, you cannot proceed to the final room. There are 50 notes in total, if you feel like you forgot 1, don't be afraid to backtrack.
