Magica has been banned. Hundreds of years ago, a wizard used his magica to try to conquer all the lands. Only barely was he stopped from completing his goal. Many lives were lost and the danger of magica in the wrong hands was revealed. To prevent another disaster, every spell ever known to man was written in a book and locked away within a hidden, dangerous place known as the Forbidden Temple of Power. Anyone caught practicing magica after the construction of the Temple was punished by death. It was the first of many new Laws of the Lands. It did not take long for magica to only exist in fairy tales and the common fairy tale was of the Forbidden Temple of Power itself.
