Land & Expansion was a game that won a students’ choice award for most fun to play, and it was a 1st runner up for the judges’ choice for programming at the 2011 game maker competition in Salem, Oregon. This game was designed and built by Team Flying Squirrel: Joe Springer, Woodrow Mayer, Avi (Pie) Gaston, Shaniqua Lopez, and Jeffery Popoff. PLEASE READ THE TUTORIAL BEFORE YOU PLAY THIS GAME. If you don't, you will not understand how to play this game. Land & Expansion has 1 Easter egg, WHAT THE CHEESE (inside joke). You can only find this Easter egg in the final level where you explore the world that you have completed. The cut-scenes are comics written and illustrated by Woodrow Mayer. There may be some spelling and grammar mistakes, but you can just ignore them. We hope that you enjoy playing Land & Expansion as much as we did creating it.
