Summary
This may be my last example for the gmc. I'm working on C++ and I might altogether move over to linux.
Here's a perfect slope friction based wall jumping platform engine/example for ya! Has some pretty sturdy physics and easy to change values. One extra bonus is the speed at which this runs!
Story Behind This ( sorry for any bad grammar, English is my worst Subject)
I started working on this out my house, trying out something new, state programming. And I decided to use it with a platformer and see how it works. I liked how it was looking so I continued on working with it. Early in the morning on the second day I was leaving too Florida for Thanks Giving. So as I was on the plane, I started writing the core code of this example and it turned out to be spectacular! I really loved it. It was pretty much done by the time it died on the plane, but being the perfectionist that I am I had to touch it up and until it was "really" done. So about one day later, programming in and out of the Thanks Giving Holiday, I ended up with this. I completely finished the project up watching the movie, American Reunion ( American Pie ). Later on that day I wanted to buy a book with the 60 dollars I had in cash, so I stayed up until 3am reading up until I found something satisfying. The real reason I wanted to move on to c++ was so that when I move too Linux I can play my own games 😁!
