This is a free gmk file to help with a very simple form of lighting for 2D games. It will give you some small understanding on controlling the image index of a sprite, it will help with objects facing the mouse, it is a basic 'platform game' engine and it provides both methods of either scripting or using the "drag&drop" icons. All of this is very simple and most useful for beginners. I hope it helps if possible and credit is not needed if used.
