A segmented health bar and a segmented life counter: if you ask me for permission first you can use these in any game you like. It's not just sprites, either: they already work! Including life cap at 99 lives, Game Over after 0 lives, and small blue segmented numbers for if you want to make... other segmented stuff such as a score counter.
