My entry for the 27th Ludum Dare Jam. Maze of Torment is a game about escaping no matter what the devil throws at you. The bar at the top is your life and it ticks down slowly, reach the gates before that happens. Every ten seconds the devil covers his maze of tricks in darkness and after that darkness comes ten seconds of light. You can call back the light at your will but at the cost of life.

Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to call back the light.
