Here is where we stand with creating a game like Minecraft in 2D. be aware, that there ARE many bug still, and we are nowhere NEAR finished. current features include:
1. a fully functional random terrain generator, which generates in 3 layers. stone, dirt, and overworld decor, like trees and flowers.
2. a (mostly) working character to explore with.
3. A lighting system. (currently unused, but in the game.)
4. Pressing the Enter key will regenerate the world to a completely new one.

Known bugs include:
1. The character can walk off the left side of the screen. (be careful! 🙄)
2. Character can stick to the sides of blocks.
3. Trees can generate on top of the character. (if this happens, just destroy the trees to the far left. your character will pop out.)
4. Any kind of ore will spawn in stone at ANY height.

If you find any other bugs in the game, please send a message to us. (we may just have forgotten to mention one or two.)

Please keep in mind that this game is NOT finished AT ALL! We may drastically change things in it, and WILL add many more features. (eventually. this project is NOT our priority. we have a few others to work on)

This, also, was one we started a long time ago, and have been improving as we got better with GML, and Game Maker in general.
