Here it is, folks. Version 2.1 of the game.

*UPDATE* Apparently, due to a change in how the jump mechanics worked in one of the recent versions, controlling jump height on springs no longer worked, thus preventing you from being able to complete Wily Stage 2. This has now been fixed.

It now should not lag on underpowered computers. Also the issues with spike hitboxes should be fixed and a few other minor tweaks have been made. Also, there is now a more traditional way of closing the game and a way to exit back to the title screen. If you find any bugs, please report them
