One day, a little mayan was walking through the Woods of Morelos. He was about to head back to his village, until a ruthless group of hideous monsters came out of nowhere. He might have been killed if a bright, green spirit hadn't of come out of the sky and chased off the beasts.
The spirit explained that it was the God of Earth, the son of Hanub Ku`... Itzamna. He told of how he had battled with the bat demon, Zotz. After being defeated, Itzamna was transformed into a spirit by Zotz. Zotz then released thousands of Monsters out into the land.
After telling the story of how Itzamna had come to be in this form, he told of how the mayan had special powers. He said that the mayan could channel energy in, through, and out his body. He said that the mayan's magical abilities come close to Zotz's. He said that the mayan was the only mortal who could help revive his lost form.
Seeing how the monsters were ransacking villages and killing people, the mayan decided to assist Itzamna in his qeust to defeat Zotz.
