A good example for beginner game makers who need some help with creating platforming games.

This is pretty much a very simple game maker file showing you how to do a lot of the things involved in a platforming game.
The controls are as followed:

Use the left and right arrow keys, or the D and A keys, to walk.
Use the up arrow key, or the W key, to jump.
Use the left click to spawn a platform.
Use the right click to delete the yellow platforms.


This game includes:
2 types of platforms (one can be deleted with the mouse.
A player that can walk, jump, climb and swim
2 pets that will follow you around. One can move through platforms, the other will go around.
Ladders that you can climb on.
Partly transparent water you can swim in.
A costom made mouse, you can use without the Pro version of gamemaker.
You can spawn and delete certain platforms with your mouse.
A unique icon made by me.
A HUD (Heads Up Display) showing your current lives.
A costom loading screen. (Look in Global game settings for details.)
