The Broken Mind of Sebastian McKean, other than sounding pretentious, that
is, is a game concerning sanity, sandworms and the abuse of the Illustrator
spiral tool. It features jumping, jumping whilst you're already in mid-air
and not jumping. Sometimes you won't jump when in mid-air and that means
you're doing it wrong.

Why not?



As to why i'm uploading this in an unfinished state, it's to see how people find the controls, specifically the double jump mechanic. The game itself is not supposed to be easy, not by a long shot, but during development i'm used to the way it functions and have no problems, but anyone else who's tried it has showed some difficulty. So please, feed me back on how the double jump works for you, or how to improve it. A few tips about it, jump before the edge, a run up isn't necessary and the second jump is pretty much as effective as the first, so it's often best to wait before using it. Also, the game works with sanity, at the early stages of the game, inspecting certain things or being in unsafe places reduce your sanity, so be careful. Controls are cursor keys, jump is up, space or z, and press down to inspect. The tutorial is just a quick method to show the controls, eventually it will be a proper tutorial level.
