The Lite version of Game Maker can create FP games, much like the old D&D games (eye of the beholder, for instance)
Controls: Arrow keys move around, control melees and 1-4 select weapons
New stuff includes enemies, a HUD, Interactive character picture (try getting your health to 0) and death. PM me if you want to look at the editable
