Its not single player. Play it with a friend on the same computer using two sides of a keyboard. Colors and key pressing are opposite. To send a red spearman, press 9(top)6(middle) and 3(bottom) on the keypad. Robots are 8,5 and 3. Airplanes are 7, 4, and 1. Ships are just the + button on the keypad. To build something on the bottom slot(we're still talking red), press Shift. For a house(spawns 75 gold every now and then), press Home. To build a barracks(makes robots buildable), press Enter.
To make blue spearman, press W(top),S(middle), and X(bottom). E, D, C, are robots. R, F, V, are airplanes. Number 1 is airplane. To build something on bottom(blue), press ctrl(control). To build a house, press A. For a barracks, press Q.

To build a red structure on the top, press the * on the keypad. For an airbase, press the / on the keypad. For a dock, press the - on the keypad.

For building a blue structure on the top, press the number 4. For an airbase(makes airplanes buildable), press 3. For a dock(makes ships buildable), press 5.

Note that ships can only fight ships. If you want an air fight, both build airbase. Ships can still attack docks. If you want a ship fight, both make airbase. Airplanes can still go on all three lines of attack.

Tips:
Airplanes can fly over spearman. Use to damage structures without a scratch.
When airplanes die, they make a fiery crash, which can dangerously kill spearman below them. Make sure if in full-air battle, to be careful with spearmen.

Robots are good at taking out a couple airplanes before dying. A few should stop an a dozen or so. However, they are the most expensive unit, as they pummel close-call spearman to the ground.
Beware robots can be easily fended off with an opposing robots. Don't use airplanes, not worth it. Use spearman. Much cheaper. 7 should break the robot. If in large quantities, do both airplanes and spearmen.
