in the game anyways you are a warrior from the ancient edo period(in japan i think a bc or a ad year)which was encountered with a wizard form 1000 years more then edo period he was then told that he will be teleported or travel through time to find that he has to save the trees from burning caused by the fire demons that somehow wasnt metioned in 8bitwonders game on how he made them try to destroy the retarted tree(and how he sommened them to help his fort then met up with a wizard to find who can destroy the demons(side story sorry its a spoiler))
