This is a nostalgic reusual of the concept behind Zelda 2: the adventure of Link: Link has to save the triforce, by battling his way trough the temple, invaded by Ganon's underlings. Hence the title. Another nostalgic thing is that you use the A and B buttons, just like on the NES.
